Portraits

I really did have a lot of fun doing these, but they were hard! Out of all of the photographs I took, these five were the best because LaRee, my older sister, looked relaxed and comfortable.
I know that these are probably not the best, but it's my first time doing this and I learned a lot of things. One thing I learned was that I will have to do a lot more portraits to be able to find my own style and to have a better eye for backgrounds. Another thing I learned was that my camera wasn't really made for portraits. It doesn't blur out anything, which made me have to look for simple, or creative, backgrounds. I'm sure that if I do this more often, I'll have a better eye for this and maybe will take even better pictures in the future when I have a better camera. :)

  1. I really like the lighting, simplicity, lines, and the rule of thirds that you followed in these images. Great work this week.
